In April of this year, local residents turned down a referendum question by only 45 votes. In the months since, the district re-engaged our staff and community and received positive feedback on the core elements of the plan. Many residents encouraged us to go forward again but look for ways to address some needs with existing dollars.
Based on community input, research, and years of planning, the school board is asking voters to consider a single ballot question for $51.65 million to 1) Improve health and safety, 2) provide more space for growing enrollment, 3) improve college and career readiness, and 4) update existing educational spaces.
